A press conference was held in Dream Stage Entertainment's Tokyo office on May 8th to announce four matches for the May 22nd PRIDE BUSHIDO 7.

Dream Stage Entertainment CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara announced that PRIDE will provide two fighters, Mark Coleman and James Thompson, to South Korea's biggest mixed martial arts event, Gladiator, for their June 4th show.

A press conference was held at DSE's Tokyo office on May 8th to announce four additions to the May 22nd PRIDE BUSHIDO 7 card. All four fighters were present and spoke about their participation.

Four more matches have been announced for PRIDE FIGHTING?? BUSHIDO VOLUME 7 fightcard ... Taisho (Japan) versus Jens Pulver (USA), Dokonjyonosuke Mishima (Japan) versus Yves Edwards (USA), Yuki Ueyama (Japan) versus Milton Vieira (Brazil), and Akihiro Gono (Japan) versus Crosley Gracie (Brazil). Tatsuya Kawajiri of Japan will also be on the fight card but his opponent is yet to be named.

FUJI TV and the "Bas Tour" have hit Southern California! As part of FUJI TV's sports program, "SRS" (Special Ring Side), Bas Rutten welcomed SRS television hosts, the Asakusa Kids (Suidobashi Hakase & Tamabukuro Sujitarou) to Los Angeles to take a look at the Southern California mixed martial arts scene. This included stops at a California sports bar to meet some hardcore PRIDE fans, a stop at Eddie Bravo's 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Academy in Hollywood, and a visit to Marcus Vinicius' Beverly Hills Jiu Jitsu Academy to meet PRIDE FIGHTING audition winners Tyrone Glover and KJ Noons,

A press conference was held in Osaka on April 24th, the day after the Opening Round of the PRIDE 2005 Middleweight Grand Prix. Seven of the eight remaining fighters were present and Sakuraba stole the show, as usual. Sakuraba couldn't wait until the noon conference and said that he started drinking at 9 in the morning.
