TAMURA VERSUS MAKHMUD ADDED TO FISTS OF FIRE!

Kiyoshi Tamura versus Aliev Makhmud has been added to PRIDE FIGHTING'S FISTS OF FIRE fight card. A mixed martial arts veteran, Tamura is one of Japan's heroes and is making his return to the PRIDE ring. Makhmud is fighting out of Azerbaydzhan and boasts in impressive wrestling background.

Three new matches have been announced for the upcoming February 20th PRIDE 29 FIST OF FIRE event. One of the three matches will be a heavyweight match, while the other two will be middleweight survival matches for Yokoi and Kanehara.

PRIDE PRESIDENT VISITS BRAZIL!

Dream Stage Entertainment President Nobuyuki Sakakibara traveled to Curitiba, Brazil in January to visit the Chute Boxe Academy. All of the Chute Boxe Members, including PRIDE Middleweight Champion Wanderlei Silva and their leader, Fujimar, gathered to welcome "PRIDE's President."

Note: The second place fight had only 629 votes.

Tom "Big Cat" Erickson makes his return to PRIDE versus newcomer Fabricio Werdum of Spain.
