"WANDI CLAUSE" SPREADING CHRISTMAS CHEER

PRIDE FC Grand Prix Champion, Wanderlei Silva, recently visited an orphanage in his hometown of Curitiba, Brazil. The champ spent time with the children, giving gifts and candy and also signing autographs. The manager of the orphanage called it the best Christmas for the children in the last ten years. Said Wanderlei, "It's good to help our brothers and sisters ... for me it reminds me how difficult my childhood was and to value all the wonderful things that I'm living today."

KAZUSHI SAKURABA PRESS CONFERENCE

A press conference was held at Dream Stage Entertainment's Tokyo office to officially announce the participation of Takada Dojo's Kazushi Sakuraba in the December 31st PRIDE FC SHOCKWAVE 2003 show. Although his injuries are not completely healed and his opponent has yet to be decided, Sakuraba is ready to fight.

WANDERLEI SILVA IN BRAZILLIAN PUBLICATIONS

This month the Grand Prix champion, Wanderlei Silva, was featured in three of Brazil's top MMA publications---Tatame, Gracie Magazine, and NOCAUTE. In addition, Veja Magazine, a mainstream magazine in Brazil, ran a piece on Silva called "O Deus do Vale Tudo" (The god of Vale Tudo).

Dream Stage Entertainment is officially protesting claims and reports made by the Nippon Television Network Corporation of Japan, the company holding the December 31, 2003 event, "Inoki Bom-Ba-Ye 2003." These claims and reports are regarding the appearance of fighters with whom we have exclusive contracts.

PRIDE: In your first fight with Yoshida, he was attempting a finish called "SODEGURUMA." Was Yoshida successful with "SODEGURUMA" and did you ever at all pass out?

Royce Gracie: He was not successful at all! He faked the move, but he never completed the move or put any pressure. I was never out! He faked the attempt, then told the referee I was out. He is a liar, a total liar.
