LOS ANGELES, California - Three more matches were announced today to round out the fight card for PRIDE FC: FINAL CONFLICT, scheduled for November 9th, 2003 from the Tokyo Dome in Japan.

FINAL CONFLICT ROUND FORMAT

Due to the nature of the upcoming PRIDE FC event, tournament matches will be shortened from the traditional three rounds to two for FINAL CONFLICT, scheduled for November 9th, 2003 from the Tokyo Dome in Japan.

KAZUSHI SAKURABA, AKA MARIO

Kazushi Sakuraba, scheduled to fight Kevin Randleman at the November 9th PRIDE GP 2003 at the Tokyo Dome, held a press conference at the Takada Dojo on October 22nd.

Playing off Randleman's nickname "Donkey Kong", Sakuraba, an avid-video gamer, has declared the he will be "Mario".

EMELIANENKO'S INJURY

The Mirko Filipovic vs. Fedor Emelianenko Heavyweight Championship match, as anticipated as the Middleweight Grand Prix, has been delayed due to an injury sustained by Fedor. However, Dream Stage Entertainment announced the replacement match at a press conference on October 16th. Mirko, undefeated in the last 2 years, will go head-to-head with the former PRIDE Heavyweight Champion, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. This will be a showdown between extreme striking and extreme grappling.

SAKURABA VS RANDLEMAN, PRIDE FINAL CONFLICT

At a press conference from the Takada Dojo in Tokyo, PRIDE FC's General Manager Nobuhiko Takada announced that Kazushi Sakuraba will be taking on Kevin Randleman at PRIDE FC: FINAL CONFLICT, scheduled for November 9th, 2003 from the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
