OGAWA AMONG HIGHEST TAXED ATHLETES IN JAPAN

On May 16th, the Japanese Ministry of finance released its rankings of the highest taxed athletes in Japan for the fiscal year of 2004 (May 2004~March 2005). Based on his earnings, coming in at number seven on the list is PRIDE star Naoya Ogawa. Ogawa's income came from mixed martial arts (PRIDE), professional wrestling (via Dream Stage Entertainment's HUSTLE series), and endorsement deals.
