TOKYO, Japan " Two additional matches have been announced for PRIDE FIGHTING'S upcoming event, FINAL CONFLICT 2005, which is scheduled to premiere on North American pay per view on August 28th, 2005 at 9:00 pm EST, 6:00 pm PST.

In the first bout, UFC veteran and legendary brawler David "Tank" Abbott will face Judo Olympic gold-medallist Hidehiko Yoshida. In the second bout, Yoshida's protégé, Kazuhiro Nakamura, will go head to head with Ukrainian hard-hitter Igor Vovchanchyn. Both of these matches are in addition to an already stellar fight card featuring the semi finals and finals of the 2005 middleweight tournament and the long awaited heavyweight title fight between champion Fedor Emelianenko and challenger Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic.
