Pride Fighting Championships: What did you think of the fight? Hiromitsu Kanehara: My mistake was thinking it would be a long fight. I planned on just keeping him down for the 1st half but it became a fight for my life. There was any one strike that really hurt me but the ref stopped it.

Pride:	Did you lose consciousness?
Kanehara:	I wanted to do more standing up but it was over before I even broke a sweat.
Pride:	Was he the kind of fighter that you don't like to fight?
Kanehara:	He's a tough, strong fighter and that's why I thought it would be a long battle. I'm a little let down that it was over before I could even se how strong he is.
Pride:	Is your impression of Shogun different now than it was before the fight?
Kanehara:	It was so quick that I don't really know.
Pride:	Do you want a rematch?
Kanehara:	Of course, I do. It was over before I even broke a sweat so I could fight again right now. (laughing)
Pride:	Did you have some strategy when you were on your back?
Kanehara:	He hit me with a good one but I tried to get back up. I can remember everything.
Pride:	Any final words?
Kanehara:	I keep losing so I need to work my way up.
