I saw it coming but it was too late. I was just thinking that I should stop standing with him with the punch hit me.

What is your impression of Mach?
Alfonso:
It ended so quickly but we got to fight, so it was fun.

What was the biggest reason for your loss?
Alfonso:
Bad strategy. I wanted to go for ground-and-pound and submissions and I never intended to trade with him. I wanted to test my own spirit when I started striking with him. It was fun.
Pride:
Had you heard that mach injured his face before the fight? Did you feel it during the fight?
Alfonso:
I didn't know anything about that and I didn't feel it at all.
