Pride Fighting Championships: How was your first fight as the Champion? Henderson: As I said before, there's no change in my feelings. I always want to win when I get in the ring. Nothing has changed but I'm glad I won this time.

Pride:	He seemed to get the better of you several times in the 1st Round. What do you think about that?
Henderson:	He got mount positions and I wanted to escape as quickly as possible. Misaki wasn't doing anything in particular, just keeping his position, so it was difficult to escape. I'm glad I was able to escape in the end.
Pride:	What do you think of Misaki?
Henderson:	I watched videos of him before the fight and he seemed tough. From my research before the fight, I knew that he wouldn't go down even if he were hit with a punch. I really respect him and I'd like to say that I respect how calm he was in the fight.
Pride:	Do you plan on fighting in the Open Weight Grand Prix?
Henderson:	Personally, I would like to fight in the Open Weight Grand Prix.
Pride:	What will you do about your weight then?
Henderson:	I'm not worried about that. I'm normally 88~89kg and I've fought in the PRIDE Middleweight Division before, too. I dropped 5~6kg and it won't change anything if I go back.
Pride:	Gomi lost for the first time as the Champion today. I think he felt a lot of pressure. How about you?
Henderson:	I don't feel any pressure. I knew Misaki was a good fighter and I didn't underestimate him. It doesn't matter whether I have a belt or not because winning is always on my mind.
Pride:	Gomi lost to his pressure. Where do you think you are different?
Henderson:	I don't know much about Gomi so I don't have a good answer. He should probably work on improving his ground techniques.
Pride:	What do you think about not winning by KO?
Henderson:	I was really after a knock out but I knew that I would be able to get a knock out when they told me there was only 1 minute left in the 2nd round. I hit him with several good punches before that but I was lucky enough to take it to a knock out.
Pride:	I can't forget your fight with Silva. Would you like to fight him again?
Henderson:	I think a lot of people feel the same. I think about it too but I think it will depend on future cards.
