Fedor Emelianenko

Pride Fighting Championships: So, what's new?
Emelianenko Fedor: Nothing much.
Pride: I know you would say that. What's the shortest answer you've ever given to a question?
Emelianenko: Yes.
Pride: What is your hobby?
Emelianenko: Books, cars and houses. I like Russian classics.
Pride: Are you married? Kids?
Emelianenko: Married with one daughter.
Pride: How old is she?
Emelianenko: 3 1/2 years old.
Pride: They call you the "last Russian Emperor" in Japan. What do you think about that?
Emelianenko: Well, that's only in Japan but I'm very happy about being called that.
Pride: What do you think Mikhail's chances of victory over Quinton Jackson are?
Emelianenko: If Mikhail uses everything he knows, he will win. But, if he can't use everything, there might be a problem.
Pride: Do you train specifically for those punches on the ground? Or is it natural?
Emelianenko: It's not natural. I do special training so I will be able to strike from the ground.
Pride: I think you've got some natural talent for it, though.
Emelianenko: Thanks.
Pride: Who will win, Don Frye or Mark Coleman and why?
Emelianenko: It's difficult to say. Both of them are great fighters. I'm really interested in this fight. I can't say who will definitely win but probably Mark Coleman because he is aggressive.
Pride: How is your cardio?
Emelianenko: No problem. You'll see it in the fight.
