TOTAL ELIMINATION 2004 PRE-FIGHT INTERVIEWS
06/20/2004
Fedor Emelianenko

Pride Fighting Championships: What do you think of Randleman after his last performance?
Fedor Emelianenko: I was impressed by his speed. I'm looking forward to fighting him.
Pride : Is there anything that you feel you need to improve, as a fighter?
Emelianenko: My trainer knows better than me about what I need.
Pride : Last time, Kevin Randleman won by striking and you arm barred Mark Coleman with a beautiful arm bar. What do you think Kevin will do against you?
Emelianenko: I cannot predict what will happen. I will just have to wait and see.
Pride : Would you rather stand with Kevin or fight on the ground?
Emelianenko: Of course, I'd like to fight with him standing up but I can fight with him on the ground, too.
Pride : You're can both punch hard and you are both good wrestlers. It's going to be a tough fight.
Emelianenko : I think so, too.
Pride : What exactly happened with your car accident and did you suffer any injuries?
Emelianenko : After training, I was driving home with a friend. We were at an intersection and another car was coming. That car was supposed to yield to me but he didn't and he hit us.
Pride : Was there a lot of damage?
Emelianenko : The car was damaged but no one was hurt.
Pride : How's your baby?
Emelianenko : Good.
Pride : Kevin Randleman's father recently died.
Emelianenko : I read it on the Internet. It's very unfortunate.
Pride : Has anything changed since last time?
Emelianenko : Nothing changed but I trained harder than before.
