SOKOUDJOU is currently training at Team Quest alongside Dan Henderson. SOKOUDJOU, who has been building up his physique since childhood, pursues Judo. Champion of the 2001 and bronze medalist at the 2003 US Open Judo Championships, SOKOUDJOU has also defeated Shinichi Shinohara and is considered by many as the next Olympic candidate. He was then introduced to MMA, and was drawn to its appeal. In addition to his large physical capacity, he wields as his weapon the ground techniques he has developed through Judo. With 2 wins out of 3 MMA matches, he has yet to build experience, but is nonetheless quickly absorbing new techniques. He is particularly improving his punches at the standing position.
