Stefan "Blitz" Leko

Representing team Golden Glory out of Holland, Stefan Leko is a world-class kick boxer. He has garnered numerous kick boxing titles and championships including: the K-1 GP USA Champion of 2001, the K-1 Dream Nagoja Tournament Winner of 1999, and the K-1 Europe Grand Prix Champion of 1998. Among his wins in kickboxing are such notables as Cyril Abidi, Peter Aerts, Remy Bonjasky, and Mike Bernardo. Leko earned his nickname of "Blitz" (short for "blitzkrieg," from the German meaning a sudden attack) because of his relentless assaults in the ring. Leko is now looking to take the blitz from kickboxing into the world of mixed martial arts.
