Known as the "Giant," Gan McGee has paid his dues and risen through the mixed martial arts ranks, leaving a trail of defeated heavyweights in his path. McGee's foundation is in wrestling, as he was a wrestler at Cal-Poly and the University of Iowa. Now he's complimented that by training in kickboxing with the SLO Kickboxing team and the respected coach John Hackleman (who also trains the "Iceman" Chuck Liddell). McGee's tremendous reach advantage causes trouble for most heavyweights, as shown in his career-defining victory over Pedro "The Rock" Rizzo (via TKO) at UFC 39. McGee is always among the top heavyweight contenders in the UFC ... now he looks to make his mark in the PRIDE ring.
