Hirotaka "Kaibutsu-Kun" Yokoi

Hirotaka "Kaibutsu-Kun" Yokoi

Hirotaka Yokoi is one of Japan's most-talented up and coming heavyweight fighters. He began his mixed martial arts career fighting for various promotions throughout Japan (where he maintained an undefeated record), but has since moved on to PRIDE with a goal to capture the PRIDE heavyweight title. Yokoi's background comes from Judo, though he has cross-trained in a myriad of martial arts (even Sumo!). Thus far in his mixed martial arts career, Yokoi has shown impressive submission fighting abilities, as he has won most of his bouts by choke or armbar. In addition, due to his tendency to push the action, Yokoi has gained a reputation as a "high energy" fighter. As one of Japan's young heavyweight stars, expect big things from Hirotaka Yokoi in the future!
