Power. That sums up Bob Sapp. Probably the biggest and most powerful man ever to compete in mixed martial arts, anyone who faces "The Beast" must be able to withstand his raw strength. Originally drafted by the Chicago Bears (3rd round pick in 1997), Sapp attended the University of Washington and was the 1996 Pac-10 offensive lineman of the year. After a short, injury plagued career in the National Football League, Sapp began pro-wrestling in the now defunct World Championship Wrestling (WCW) organization and then found his way to Japan where he began kickboxing and then later competing in mixed martial arts. Sapp possesses natural athleticism and is incredibly agile for a man of his massive size. His football background also makes him very explosive in the ring. Still developing his overall game, Sapp relies on "smash mouth" punches to defeat his opponents. Presently, he is one of the world's most famous fighters and is a mega-celebrity in Japan.
