Blessed with natural size and strength, Cory Peterson began as a professional wrestler and then made the jump to mixed martial arts. Though still a novice, Peterson has been training in Muay Thai and Jiu-Jitsu and continues to improve his skills. Peterson played baseball and football in high school and then played college football at Fresno State.
An avid snowboarder and surfer, Peterson also owns a custom made chopper (built for his size). His nickname of "L.A. Giant" was given to him by the Japanese based on his birthplace (Los Angeles). INFERNO is Peterson's mixed martial arts and PRIDE debut.
